An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment may include a data acquisition part which acquires ultrasound data for an object, an image processing part which generates an ultrasound image based on the ultrasound data, and forms a first maker for a first object of interest which is not included in the generated ultrasound image, and a display part which displays the generated ultrasound image and marks the first marker which corresponds to the position of the extracted first object of interest.
