The present invention relates to a server and a method for mediating in a card information providing service. The present invention provides a server for mediating in a card information providing service, comprising: a data storage unit which stores identification numbers of a plurality of financial companies; a communications interface unit which performs data transmission/reception with a communications terminal and at least one financial company servers; and a control unit which, when the communications interface unit receives a specific number composed of N digits from the communications interface unit, acknowledges whether two or more successive digits among the N digits included in the specific number are matched with an identification number of a specific financial company among the identification numbers of the financial companies, determines that the specific number is a card number of the specific financial company corresponding to the identification number of the specific financial company when the two or more successive digits are matched with the identification number of the specific financial company, and transmits the specific number to a specific financial company server, a server of the specific financial company, through the communications interface unit. According to the present invention, a card information page corresponding to a card number inputted by a communications terminal can be directly loaded from the communications terminal and displayed. |
