PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the ripple of the power source voltage due to periodic load variation of display and non-display.SOLUTION: A display device according to an embodiment includes: a display part for displaying an image; and a driver part for executing driving for causing an image to be displayed for the display part in a display period for performing the display of the image and executing the driving different from the driving for causing the image to be displayed for the display part in a non-display period continued from the display period. The driver part includes a power source supply part for supplying a power to the display part; a load part for forming a load to be supplied to the power source supply part; a switch part for connecting an output line of the power source supply part and the load part; and a first control part for controlling the switch part.
