PURPOSE:To provide a base cloth material useful as a cover member for a paper feed roll of a printing machine. CONSTITUTION:The objective cloth material is a woven or knit cloth, etc., composed mainly of fibers of poly-4-methylpentene-1 produced by extrusion molding the resin in molten state, quenching the extrudate and drawing the product having suppressed crystallinity. It is useful e.g. as a cover member 3 of a paper feed roll 1 of a printing machine. |
