<p>PURPOSE:To improve the forming efficiency by making the surface of a mold in contact with a material to be formed from an alloy excellent in resistances to heat and wear and wettability with the material and by making the heat radiating part in contact with a coolant to be formed from a metal excellent in heat conductivity. CONSTITUTION:This vessel forming mold is furnished with a plunger 30, a barrel die 11, a lower die 21, etc., and the surface 12, etc., of each member in contact with a material to be formed are made from an alloy (e.g. cobalt alloy) resistant to heat and wear and appropriately wettable with the material. Meanwhile, the heat radiating part 13, etc., in contact with a coolant are made from the metal or alloy (e.g. copper alloy) having higher heat conductivity than the surface 12. A turntable 50 is intermittently turned, a specified amt. of gob is supplied in the barrel die 11, and the plunger 30 is forced in to press- form the gob. The plunger 30 is then raised, and the formed article 8 is cooled and brought out.</p> |
