A nickel base casting alloy, suitable for making turbine blades and extrusion dies, comprises: <TABS:1019679/C6-C7/1> the balance, apart from impurities, being nickel. The contentof Pb, Bi, Te, S, O, N, H, As, Sn, Sb and Tl should be as low as possible and preferably be not more than 0.0001% of each. Cobalt and iron should not exceed 1% each and silicon and manganese should not be present in amounts over 0.1%. |
