PURPOSE:To improve the detection sensitivity of an acceleration sensor and reduce the cost of the sensor by protecting a semiconductor type detecting chip section from an excessively strong input. CONSTITUTION:Holes 13 are formed through a flexible printed board 5 mounted with a semiconductor type detecting chip section 7 and, at the same time, a hole 12 is formed through the base plate 3 on the rear side of the board 5 so that the section 7 can be supported by a bridge section 7 only. Even when an excessively strong input is made from an acceleration acting direction, the section 7 can be protected form the input, because the input is absorbed and relieved by the elastic deformation of the bridge section 14 and bent section 15 of the board 5. |
