The fabric passes over a central roller and is gripped by two satellite rollers with mating surfaces so that the fabric is subjected to pressure, and any fluids in which it has been soaked are squeezed out. Designed particularly for foulards, but also suitable for other similar fabrics, a variety of roller surfaces can be provided, such as teeth which mate with the satellite roller, so that an even fluid extraction is achieved. The advantage of this arrangement is a faster finishing cycle over existing methods. |
