[Also in Division C2] Pesticidal compositions comprising as active ingredient a compound of the formula: wherein Y is a sulphoxide or sulphone group, R is an alkyl C 1-12 radical which may be substituted by at least one halogen atom or hydroxyl group or is an aryl group which may be substituted by at least one halogen atom or alkyl, hydroxyl, nitro or amino group, stated to be novel, together with a solid or liquid carrier are applied to the area infested with pests or susceptible to infestation thereby e.g. to soil, seeds, plants, to aqueous fluids, e.g. wood pulp, susceptible to slime formation, to leather and tanning stocks. |
