Cosmetics pack is walled outside in foamed polyurethane or polyethylene so that this wall defines the space in the pack. The foam is worked directly onto the inner part of the pack, using stays, flanges etc. to key them together, and the foam can ride up over the flange bounding the screw top so as to increase the sealing effect. The inner part can be throated and thus allow the foam forming the outer wall to engage here and form a seal for the screw top. The inner part, or pot, can be made of glass and will be adequately protected against breakage by the foam walling outside it.
