摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the heat shrink balance of each layer and to suppress the generation of a curl by forming a surface layer and a base material layer from a crystalline resin having high crystrallinity and a high m.p. and forming a backing layer from a thermoplastic resin having specific melting peak temp. and providing a thermal recording layer on the surface layer. CONSTITUTION:In the support of thermal recording paper, a surface layer A composed of a uniaxially stretched film of a crystalline propylene resin containing 8-65wt.% of an inorg powder and having melting peak temp. of a DSC curve of 160 deg.C or higher, a base material layer B composed of a biaxially stretched film of a crystalline propylene resin containing 30wt.% or more of an inorg. powder and having melting peak temp. of a DSC curve of 160 deg.C or higher and a backing layer C composed of 85-20 pts.wt. of the above-mentioned crystalline propylene resin and at least one kind of a thermoplastic resin having melting peak temp. of a DSC curve of 160 deg.C or lower are provided. A thermal recording layer D is provided on the surface layer A of the support to enable thermal recording reduced in the generation of a curl.
