PURPOSE:To provide a method for efficiently performing treatment of methane fermentation which is combined with the merits of various methane fermentation methods and also inhibits blockage of a filter medium based on SS and acidogenic bacteria or the like. CONSTITUTION:A fixed bed 7 packed with an inorganic carrier is provided in the central part of a tank 6. The lower and upper parts of the tank are formed into an acid fermentation part 21 and a methane fermentation part 22 respectively. The inflow port 3 of raw waste water is provided in the lower end part of the tank. The outflow port 4 of treated water is provided in the upper end part of the tank. In the case of performing anaerobic fermentation treatment by using the reaction tank, the fixed bed 7 is periodically washed and also sludge discharge is performed from at least one part or above of the reaction tank. |
