PURPOSE:To enlarge the ionic conductance of a solid electrolyte layer and to reduce the internal resistance of a cell so as to increase the output, in a cell of a fuel cell in which on one face of a solid electrolyte layer an oxygen electrode is provided and on the other face of the layer a fuel electrode is provided, and conductive structural members for gas channels are arranged in the oxygen electrode side or in the fuel electrode side so as to be electrically connected to the oxygen electrode or the fuel electrode and to section oxygen containing gas channels or fuel gas channels. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen electrode 2 or a fuel electrode 3 is constructed so as to be porous and to permit gas flow and that the electrode itself works as oxygen containing gas channels S or fuel gas channels F, and the thickness of the electrode is made larger than that of a solid electrolyte layer 1 and gas channel structural members 4. And the solid electrolyte layer 1 and gas channel structural members 4 are supported by the oxygen electrode 2 or the fuel electrode 3 and formed like a film on the oxygen electrode 2 or the fuel electrode 3. |
