A continuous process for treating synthetic fibres to make them stain-resistant consists of (1) applying an aqueous solution of lubricants, softening agents, and anti-static agents, (2) partially drying at >70 deg.C until the water content is between 5 and 55%, (3) applying an aqueous solution containing at least one anti-staining agent and especially containing zirconium acetate and sulphamic acid, and (4) drying to a water content of below 0.5%. |
