1313163 Carpet cleaning apparatus HYDROTEX CORP 24 April 1970 [24 April 1969] 19878/70 Heading A4F A carpet cleaning apparatus comprises a suction nozzle C, carried by a cleaning head 26, and connected by a hose 16 to a tank A having in an upper part a centrifugal blower B for evacuating air from the tank, a sprayer D carried by the head 26 for discharging cleaning liquid on to the carpet to be cleaned adjacent the suction nozzle C, and a centrifugal pump G in a lower part of the tanks A for removing used cleaning liquid and passing it via a hose 25 to a drain. The tank A is mounted on a wheeled carriage 10, Fig. 1 (not shown), and secured thereto is a reservoir E for cleaning agent which is mixed in a T joint.62 with water supplied through a pipe 63b, the mixture being fed via a tube 50 to the sprayer D. |
