1313587 Photographic processing apparatus EASTMAN KODAK CO 30 April 1970 [30 April 1969] 20853/70 Heading G2A Photographic film strips are sequentially fed through a film processor between an input station and an output station and at the same time film identification members 70, e.g. customers envelopes, are carried by a conveyor 66 from an identification input 62 adjacent the processor input to an identification output 64 adjacent the processor output. The exposed films are preferably located in a cartridge which is loaded into a holder at the processor input. The leading end of the film in the cartridge is spliced to the trailing end of the previous film, a light tight cover is then replaced, the envelope in which the cartridge was received is placed in a holder 72 and the film fed into an input slack box. Gates 82, 84, 86, 88 associated with conveyor 66 are operated so as to step each holder 72 one position forward upon the winding of each film into the processor. The number of holders 72 between the inputs 62 and output 64 is equal to the number of film strips within the processor. The processed film is wound at the processor output station onto a reel, cut from the succeeding film strip and placed within the envelope presented at identification output 64. |
