PURPOSE:To conduct the continuously stable intermittent drive of a tape by minimally inhibiting the quantity of rocking and return from a belt driving a reel to a capstan motor. CONSTITUTION:The capstan control section 11 of a microcomputer 1 starts a capstan motor 4 at full voltage and brings the capstan motor to final target speed by applying servo by outputting a capstan error signal to a drive control circuit 3, and applies voltage in the direction opposite to the time of start when the capstan motor reaches the speed and conducts control applying a brake. A frequency voltage converter 25 converts the signal of frequency corresponding to the speed of the capstan motor acquired by a speed detection circuit 24 into voltage corresponding to the frequency, and outputs the voltage to the drive control circuit 3 as voltage for controlling the limit of currents. The drive control circuit 3 controls the limitation of the upper limit value of currents fed to the capstan motor 4 on the basis of voltage for controlling the limit of currents, thus suppressing the transmission on of excess energy over a belt. |
