<p>Powders are dispersed in metered quantities into a gas stream from a cylindrical dispenser. Powder is placed into this cylinder and it is entrained by gas steams blowing into this cylinder above the powder level. Powder level is maintained by a piston. This piston has a central bore and gas at low pressure is blown through this into powder charge. This fluidises the powder and assists in dispersion process.</p> |
