PURPOSE: To manufacture a holder efficiently by solidifying a ceramic particulate material with an embedded core inside, removing the core to form a green artifact having cavities inside, and sintering the green artifact to produce a sintered single artifact. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus 10 is constituted of a mold or die body 12 and a pair of mobile die plungers 14, 16. A premixed particulate mixture 18 of, for example, β-alumina particles and wax is injected into inside of the die body 12 and a core is embedded with many passages 22 inside the particulate mixture 18. One mobile die plunger 14 is pressed against the other mobile die plunger 16 to compress the particulate mixture 18 around the core 20 and inside the passages 22. Then the other mobile die plunger 16 is drawn out to the reverse side and the compressed green artifact 30 containing the core 20 is taken out of the die body. After that, the green artifact 30 is sintered to produce a sintered single artifact. |
