<p>An electrode cap or rod electrode is fitted on a cooled shaft, and a cooling tube directs cooling water to the immediate vicinity of the tip of the electrode cap or pin electrode. The cooling tube is axially displaceable by the pressure of the cooling water. Pref., the cooling tube, at its end opposite the electrode tip, is seated, e.g. by a radial projection, on the cooling water supply tube and surrounded by a guide tube fitted over and fixed to this supply tube.</p> |
