PURPOSE:To provide a file editor controller for information processor which efficiently performs the correcting work like write of an original file. CONSTITUTION:A file attribute storage means 11 where the attribute of a designated file is stored at the time of designating this file stored in an external storage device as the editing object by an operator, a temporary file reserving means 12 for editing which temporarily stores contents of the designated file to reserve a file for editing, an editing object file copy means 13 which copies contents of the editing object file to the temporary file for editing, and a command processing start means 14 which analyzes a character inputted by the operator and starts the command processing in the case of a command character and starts the editing means in the case of an editing character input are provided. An editing means 15 is provided, and this means informs the operator of the write inhibition mode without the editing processing by a warning buzzer or the like when the file attribute stored in a file attribute storage means 11 indicates the write inhibition mode, but the means 15 edits contents of the temporary file for editing if it does not indicate the write inhibition mode. |
