<p>Pipes with a helical projection on their internal surface are produced by pouring a molten material onto the surface of a core mould with a helical surface, curing the material, and unscrewing the core mould from the cured material. Specif. the molten material is poured into a space formed between the surface of the core mould and a cover. The cover has a helical projection similar to that of the helical projection formed on the core mould. The pipe is produced by applying a fusible powder onto the surface of the core mould, pressing the powder into the core mould, and unscrewing the mould from the material. The pipes enable liquids to be efficiently mixed, or accelerate the chemical reactions of fluids flowing through the pipes. The pipes suitably consist of PTFE.</p> |
