Polyester textiles are dyed by adding to the perchloroethylene, independently of the bath ratio, 20-60% of water (wrt textile) and using a dye of formula: (where X = C=O or C=NH and R is NH-CH2-CH-CONH2, p-aisolyl or -(CH2)2COOC2H5).
