PURPOSE:To achieve the enhancement of a denitration ratio, the reduction of the wear degree of a carbon fiber and the reduction of noise in the removal of nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Metal oxide is supported on a carbon fiber. Carbon is calcined at 800-2000 deg.C before use. As metal oxide, oxides of Fe, Cu, Co, Ni, Mn, Cr, W, V and the like are used. A treatment device is packed with the carbon fiber having metal oxide supported thereon. |
