U.V. absorbers in polymers consist of cpds. (I) (where R1 and R2 each are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl with =10C or aryl, OH, alkoxy, carboxy, carbalkoxy, carbamyl, sulphamyl, alkyl- or aryl-sulphonyl, acylamino or halogen; and R3 and R4 each are H, 1-4C alkyl, 5-6C cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, n is integer 1-4 and m is integer 1-3).
