<p>Beta-amino-acrylophenone derivs. Title cpds. of formula (I): (where R1 and R2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, OH or NO2; R3 is H or lower alkyl and R4 is H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or OH), which are pharmaceutically active, particularly against cardiac and circulatory disorders and also have anti-inflammatory activity, are prepd. by reacting an R1, R2-substd. alpha-formyl-acetophenone or alkali enolate thereof with an amine H2N-CH(R3)-CHOH-C6H4-R4 (II) or by reacting an R1, R2-substd. propiolophenone with (II). A racemic product may be optically resolved, or a stereochemically uniform product may be obtained by using stereochemically uniform (II) as starting material.</p> |
