<p>Moulds each with a number of parallel rows of cavites are conveyed below >=1 rows of ejector nozzles which dispense a boiled sugar mixture by individual pistons operated by a common actuator bar so that they suck the sugar mass from a rocking kettle assembly and then expel it from the nozzles in synchronism with the alignment of the cavities in the moving mould plates. The rocking motion of the kettle, the operation of the piston actuator bar and the operation of a main slide valve associated with the feed from the kettle to the pistons, are operated by separate hydraulic motors whose solenoid, two-way control valves are electrically connected in a circuit with interlock relays and microswitches operated by the motions of the above main moving parts at their extrenas of travel. The start of each operating sequence is triggered by a separate microswitch operated by a cam mounted on a synchronous rotating shaft.</p> |
