PURPOSE: To prevent low-temperature heat transfer and non-uniformity of an image even when it is printed at a high temperature and a high humidity by incorporating a specific polycarbonate resin as a binder. CONSTITUTION: An ink layer which consists of at least a thermodiffusive dye and a binder is formed on one face of a substrate. At that time the binder contains one of the following three material: a) a polycarbonate resin having as a diol component at least one kind of bis(hydroxyaryl)cycloalkane, b) a polycarbonate resin having as a diol component a mixture of biscycloalkanes and at least one kind of compound shown by HO-Φ-A-Φ-OH (Φdenotes aryl group, and A denotes O, S or CR1 R2 -, R1 and R2 each representing independent hydrogen atom or alkyl group), and c) a mixture of a polycarbonate resin shown in a) or b) or a mixed polycarbonate resin of a) and b) with a polycarbonate resin having as a diol component a compound shown in b). |
