The impact device is for use in attachment of fittings to box type containers, having a guide section with a stamper device with at least one impact stamp at its free end which can accommodate the fitting to be attached at right angles to the guide plate. The stamp section (1) and the guide piece are in the form of a device with a stamping block (11), a guide block and a series of interchangeable segments (14). The guide in the guide block (21) matches up with an impactable fitting in the stamp or die section (1).
