PURPOSE:To provide a method for printing a web high in a dye fixing degree, brilliancy, concentration and accuracy by an ink jet method. CONSTITUTION:The small drops of a printing ink are flied from a head having plural nozzles arranged at the equal distance in a density of 3-35 nozzles/mm to impart dots each having a dot diameter of (r) to (2r) [(r) is a nozzle pitch] to a web. The web is, if necessary, subjected to a thermal treatment with steam to diffuse the ink so that the increase of the dot diameter is 0.2-3r, and the non-fixed dye is then washed out. |
