Arrangement for manufacturing extruded products of polymer material comprising (a) an extruding machine 1 for shaping an inner part 6, 10 of the product, which inner part is transparent at the shaping temperature, for example an insulation 6 for a cable 4 provided with a conductive layer 5, (b) an extruding machine 2 for shaping a non-transparent layer 7, 11 surrounding the inner part, for example an electrically conductive layer 7 on a cable insulation 6, and (c) a connection piece 3 that connects the extruding machines together. The inner wall of the connection piece is thereby arranged to be in contact with the transparent inner part when this is extruded and comprises a window for monitoring the quality of the inner part and/or parts of the product located inside the inner part. <IMAGE> |
