<p>The ledging bracket (8) has a square angle 'Z' section, and is used to locate suspended infill slabs (11) flush between support walls (10). It is held in place by a wedging action promoted by the support couple, and obviates shaping or cutting of the slab ends etc. Once in position the top flange (12) of the bracket sits flat on the top of the support wall, the web (15) fits in the vertical gap between the end of the suspended slab and the support wall, and the bottom flange (13) provides a horizontal seat for the underside end of the suspended slab. A partic. application is to the support of suspended stone slabs between edging blocks, and the bracket web may inc. a vertical rib or horizontal studs which kay into reciprocal slab end formations.</p> |
