PURPOSE:To obtain a recorded picture of high resolution, high clearness and excellent quality by specifying the relation of distances from an orifice to an energy actuating part and from the energy actuating part to the surface of the wall inside a common liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:In a recording head 101 many liuqid-discharging parts 102 are arranged at a fixed interval and the liquid-discharging parts are connected with a common liquid chamber 103 provided in the rear thereof, while the common liquid chamber 103 is supplied with liquid by a supply pipe 106. In the device, an excellent recording performance can be obtained by setting the relation expressed as L1/L2<=1, wherein L1 is the distance between orifices 107 discharging liquid drips and an energy actuating part 109, while L2, the distance between the energy actuating part 109 and the inner wall surface 111 opposed to the inlet ports 104 of the common liquid chamber 103. |
