PURPOSE:To thin a magnetic recording/reproducing device and to prevent locking of a motor, by providing a gear which turns via a friction clutch part in a recess part of a flywheel turning in a body with a capstan, and selecting the take-up and feed reel driving disks. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel 4 unified to a capstan 3 drives a gear 11 via a friction clutch consisting of a felt 9 and a compression spring 10 within a recess part 4a. The gear 11 drives a gear 36 along with a gear 33 via a felt 34. The fingure shows a reproduction mode in which a mojor gear 13b of a take-up reel drive disk 13 engages with the gear 36. When a shaft 15 is pushed down, the gears 13b and 36 are disengaged from each other. At the same time, the gears 33 and 13a engage with each other. Thus a switch 16 is closed to secure a fast forward mode. While a lever 29 is turned to switch the engagement of the gears 33 and 36 to the gears of a supply reel driving disk. As a result, the travelling direction of a tape is reversed. Thus the conversion of modes is executed with a simple and thin structure. |
