PURPOSE:To effectively apply a DC bias to the AC output voltage in an inexpensive, small-sized and simple configuration by providing an impedance varying circuit for varying the base current at the base side of an oscillation transistor. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage power source has a DC power source E, an oscillation transistor Q and an inverter transformer T. A load L is connected to the secondary winding N2 of the transformer T. A base winding NB which flows a timing base current for ON and OFF timing is connected together with resistors R1-R3 and a condenser C1 flowing the stationary bias base current to the base of the transistor Q, and a variable resistor VR forming an impedance varying circuit 4 is connected through a condenser C2 to the base winding NB. |
