PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of two flap valves and to enable the valves to be designed without regard to the configuration of the body of the device, to thereby facilitate the maintenance and inspection of the valves by a method wherein the flap valves are arranged in the intermediate parts, respectively, of a fuel supply passage and an air supply passage. CONSTITUTION:A flap valve mechanism 25 for controlling a fuel is attached with a base plate 30 between flanges 27 and 28 of a first pipe 22a and a second pipe 22b by means of connecting members 29 and a plurality of communication holes 31 are arranged annularly around the central part of the base plate 30. Further, the central part of the base plate 30 is provided with a concave section 32 at one side thereof and one end of a cylindrical spacer 33 is inserted into the concave section with a flapper valve stop 34 arranged at the other end of the spacer 33. The flapper valve stop 34 is provided with a plurality of communication holes 35 arranged annularly around the central part thereof and is held in spaced apart relationship with the base plate 30 by means of the spacer 33. In addition, the flapper valve 36 is inserted by evaporation into the gap between the valve stop 34 and the base plate 30 so that the communication holes 31 in the plate 30 are opened and closed. The abovementioned members 33, 36 and 34 are attached to the base plate 30 by means of a connecting member 37. A flap valve mechanism 26 for controlling air has the same structure, too. As a consequence, it is possible to improve the reliability of both of the flap valves and to facilitate the design and inspection of the valves. |
