摘要 PURPOSE:To improve measurement precision by arranging a flow rate measuring unit in a measurement passage sectioned from a by-pass passage and deviating the center axial line of the measurement passage from the center axial line of the entire flow passage to a wall surface side by >= about 1/3. CONSTITUTION:A flow rate measuring device 11 is provided on the flow-passage upstream side of the runner 10a of a turbocharger compressor 10. The flow rate measuring unit 13 is arranged with its rectangular cylinder housing 13a in contact with the wall surface 11a forming the entire flow passage of the flow rate measuring device 11. The center axial line X of the measurement flow passage A is deviated from the center axial line Y of the entire flow passage to the wall surface 11a by >= about 1/3 to section the by-pass flow passage B. A Karman vortex street generator 14 and a detection probe 15 which detects the frequency or period of Karman vortex street are provided in the housing 13a of the flow rate measuring unit 13, and a detecting circuit 16 is provided outside of the flow passage to constitute a Karman vortex street type flow rate measuring device 11.
