Process for preparing cakes of cooked cereals, comprising the introduction of the cereals between a die (1) and a punch (2), a relative closing together between the die and the punch by engagement with drive means (7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14), cooking of the cereals under the pressure exerted by the said closing together, disengagement of a drive means (11, 12, 14) and its free return towards its initial position, and stopping of the disengaged drive means in its free return movement, in a predetermined position to ensure the abovementioned temporary stoppage of the sudden relative spacing between the die and the punch in the expansion position. <IMAGE> |
