The apparatus includes a rotatable hollow body (8) which comprises two sections (I and II). The first section (I) has a truncated pyramid or cone- frustrum type drum (9) rotatable around a longitudinal geometrical symmetry axis (x). Its side is formed, at least in part, by a sieve or filter (18). A feeder pipe (17) leads through a smaller end-plate (13) of the drum into the interior, while a larger end- plate (14) has an opening (15) eccentrically arranged in relation to the symmetry axis. The second section (II) of the hollow body in co-rotation with the first section joins this opening, and has at least three prismatic hollow-members (10, 11, 12) connected with each other. Their sides, at least in part, are formed by a sieve or filter (18). The geometrical longitudinal axes of the members together form a zig-zag line, intersecting the symmetry axis of the drum, which is also the common axis of rotation of the two sections of the hollow body, outside the drum. <IMAGE> |
