PURPOSE:To prevent an image flow and a cleaning shortage caused by an adhesion of paper powder, by covering at least a non-image forming surface of an image carrying body in a transfer position by using a non-water absorptive gain group. CONSTITUTION:At least a non-image forming surface which is not concealed by a toner image of the surface of an image carrying body 1 in a transfer position where paper powder adheres is covered by using a grain group 11 which is non-water absorptive, and smaller than an average grain size of a toner desirably. The image forming part and the image non-forming part are concealed by the toner image and the grain group 11 respectively, therefore, recording paper comes not to be brought into contact directly with the image carrying body 1. In such a way, an image flow caused by an adhesion of paper powder at the time of a transfer process especially, a cleaning shortage caused by biting-in of a cleaning blade of paper powder, generation of a black line caused by the cleaning shortage, and electrification and exposure failures are prevented, and a distinct image can always be obtained. |
