PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization of a disk driver by bringing a small sized disk turntable in the standing state so as to place a disk loading face higher than the disk loading face of a large diameter disk turntable. CONSTITUTION:The small diameter disk turntable 14 in its standing state is placed by a prescribed height (h) higher than the disk placing face 13a of the large diameter disk turntable 13. Thus, even when the circumference of the small diameter disk placed on the small diameter disk turntable comes to a position overlapped with the large diameter disk turntable, the small diameter disk and the large diameter disk turntable are not brought into contact with each other. Thus, the large diameter disk turntable and the small diameter disk turntable are placed closely to each other so as to decrease the size of the disk driver by the share.
