PURPOSE:To suspend a stator in a simple manner without special apparatuses or suspending tools and also without reinforcement by installing the end bracket of a rotary electric machine in the state of upside down and suspending the center side of said end bracket by a crane. CONSTITUTION:In the case a stator 3 of a vertical-shaft type rotary electric machine is lifted, an upper bracket 5 is installed to the stator 3 in the state of upside down with respect to the state in the normal operation. Then, wire rope 2 is wound at the arbitral positions in the center side of the upper bracket 5, and the stator is lifted by a crane 1. In this method, since the direction of the force acting on the connecting plane between a bracket boss 5a and a bracket arm 5b is the same as the direction of the force applied during the normal operation, the stator can be lifted in a simple manner without using special apparatuses or reinforcement. |
