In a fermentation apparatus for the fermentation of straw in the form of bales or the like, simple manipulation and high functional reliability are achieved by providing two pot-type bodies (2 and 6) one of which can be inserted inside the other to form a fermentation space (11) and one of which carries an elastic sealing ring (10) which is arranged in the region of mutual overlap and which can be moved in and out by pumping in and letting out, respectively, a pressure medium in the radial direction. <IMAGE> |
