PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitive recording body which is characterized by grossiness, recording concentration, storage stability of gradation and a recorded image, resistance to a plasticizer in particular, and reduced discoloration of a recorded image and decreased yellowing of a substrate against light exposure. CONSTITUTION:In a thermosensitive body, a thermosensitive layer containing a colorless or slightly colored basic dye and a coloring agent, a middle layer containing a water-soluble or water-dispersive resin as a main component, and overcoat layer of a resin curable by ionizing radiation are placed in sequence on a substrate. In this system, the middle layer includes microcapsules which contain an ultraviolet absorbing agent and have no substantial color development function. |
