Advantages with respect to previous liquid dispensing (apportioning) methods: The supply container (1) can be refilled without interrupting the dispensing process and in a simpler way, no opening seals or valves being able to cause susceptibility to interference. The height of the liquid level (12) in the consumer bowl (6) of the container (2) is easily regulated, in that a hook-shaped tube (15) is immersed and air is led to or from the spaces (8) and (9). The air pressure of the human lungs is sufficient. The consumer container (2) can be moved vertically and horizontally without altering its level (12) and independently of the supply container (1). The height difference between the two containers can be selected practically arbitrarily, since the limitation on the use of vacuum ceases to exist. <IMAGE>
