Concrete interconnecting ring for forming walls, and wall formed from interconnecting rings

A concrete interconnecting ring having four side walls and, if appropriate, an insertable base slab is intended to be further developed such that walls of variable thickness and with freely selectable cultivation surfaces can be formed therefrom. Moreover, the intention is that said novel interconnecting ring can be easily combined with connecting rings of different forms. A connecting ring fulfils these requirements if a) the side walls (2, 3) run in an essentially rectilinear manner and form a rectangle, b) the length of the longer side wall (3) is approximately 1.5 times that of the shorter side wall (2), c) all the side walls (2, 3) exhibit a uniformly repeating interconnecting structure on their outer surface, and d) the interconnecting-structure elements occur at least four times on the shorter side walls (2). The design possibilities can be improved still further if further connecting rings of different forms can be combined with the abovementioned connecting ring, in particular connecting rings in the case of which all the side walls correspond to the shorter side walls (2) and together form a square. Usage lies predominantly in horticulture and agriculture. <IMAGE>
