<p>PURPOSE:To identify and display the close relative relation between an icon and the picture data by selecting optionally an icon corresponding to the picture data via a user and registering and controlling the selected icon and its corresponding background image. CONSTITUTION:An icon display means 5 displays an icon corresponding to the sort information on the document picture information to be registered. An icon production means 1 integrates an optional background image picture to the icon displayed on the means 5 and produces a user control icon. Then an icon control means 1 is added to control the retrieval of the document picture information based on the user control icon produced by the means 1. Thus a user can optionally visualize the corresponding relation between the registered picture data and the icon.</p> |
