PURPOSE:To prevent the power supply from being left unswitched and to save power by turning on a power supply means supplying power to each section of the camera after a standby command is entered by a standby command means and turning off the power supply means when a prescribed time elapses by a timer means. CONSTITUTION:A main power supply 30 generates a DC voltage of a prescribed voltage. A switch 50 is turned on when a standby button 24 is depressed thereby making power from the main power supply 30 available to be in use for each section. The switch 50 is turned off with a timeout signal from a timer 48. A DC/DC converter 28 connects to the switch 50 and the DC/DC converter 28 converts the DC voltage to a prescribed voltage such as 12V and 5V. The voltages are fed to each section of the camera. A buzzer 32 is sounded when a shutter button 26 is depressed to inform the start of the image pickup and printing to the operator. A paper feed motor 34 connects to a control section 40 via an amplifier 36 to feed the thermosensing paper 42. |
