PURPOSE:To obtain a healthy beverage, having sweetness and sourness suitable for drinking and rich in nourishing and tonic effects by extracting Allium victorialis L. with water, filtering the resultant extract, then thermally sterilizing the filtrate and adding honey, fructose and citric acid to the extract solution. CONSTITUTION:Allium victorialis L. is extracted with water and then filtered and the resultant filtrate is thermally sterilized. Honey or fructose and citric acid are suitably added to the sterilized extract solution and the obtained solution is regulated so as to provide sweetness and sourness suitable for a beverage. The regulated solution is allowed to stand for a prescribed time to afford the objective beverage. |
