PURPOSE:To provide the reflected wave component eliminating device which eliminates a reflected wave generated at the time of acoustic reproducing in a narrow space to obtain an acoustic field due to the wave front form a front direction as in the case of hearing in a wide space even in the narrow space. CONSTITUTION:The reflected wave component eliminating device consists of auxiliary speakers S1 to S4, which are provided on sides and in the rear of a listener position A in the front of speakers SR and SL which reproduce and output left and right component signals of an acoustic signal correspondingly, and aixiliary speaker driving signal circuits 20 connected to auxiliary speakers S1 to S4. Each driving signal circuit 20 consists of a delay part consisting of a delay circuit which meets a time taun in which audio signals ER and EL from speakers SR and SL are propagated to reach the auxiliary speaker Sn, an amplitude control part consisting of a gain control circuit, and a synthesizing and inverting part, and the outputs of the respective delay circuits let the amplitude be controlled by the amplitude control circuit and is subjected to synthesis and polarity inversion in the synthesizing and inverting part to obtain a driving signal En of the auxiliary speaker Sn. Acoustic waves from speakers SR and SL in the vicinity of the auxiliary speaker Sn are cancelled by the acoustic wave from the speaker Sn due to the driving signal En. |
